COLD BLOODED PETSHOP OWNER KILLED 3 SAINT BERNARD BRUTALLY

I am not dog lover. I fear them, a lot! This phobia started when I was small, but that is another story. Fear them or not, I knew very well, Dogs is also God’s living creatures. They have been brought into the life by God, and as pets; someone or many people; really love them. This is true story about 4 Saint Bernard which 3 of them had been killed in brutal way by pet shop Owner.

Meet Alfan Von Puppy Lover, Aisha Von Polar, Dior Von Silk Kennel and Dextra Von Silk Kennel, 4 Saint Bernard belong to Christina Mason, which had been with her since they are puppies. One day Christina decided to send her Dogs to her friend, Handaka, whose live at Klaten, Jawa Tengah (Central Of Java), because she wanted her Dogs to have better place to live in than Jakarta, where she live at that moment. Both of them, Christina and Handaka didn’t have any experience about shipping animal from one city to another, but they had no choice than using this method only: Shipping via Courier.

Handaka then contacted JOHANES INDRAJAYA - PLANET PETSHOP with address GAJAH MADA Plaza Lt.1 - Phone Number; 021-63852624, Mobile Phone Number: 0812-888-1200, Jakarta, Indonesia, for asking about Pet Delivery. Johanes told Handaka that Handaka can ship the dogs through him. I think, just like many pet lovers will think, it is hard to believe if the owner of Pet Shop have no care at all to animal. Opening Pet Shop usually mean that person also a pet lover because it is not easy to taking cares animal. Without love, you will only make your animal get killed sooner or later. Having Pet Shop usually mean this person have many pets under his mercy and doing at his best to make his pets for sale become really happy and healthy, because who wants to buy sad and sick Dog? Too bad, it is not the case.

Thursday, February 3, 2011 Johannes called Christina, asked about the weight of her dogs, somehow sound little uncertain about the size of the carrier he will used to send them, but didn’t want to explain what is the problem or what is the size of the carrier he will used to take her dogs. He asked Christina if she will be home when he take the Dogs which is impossible for Christina to do that because she had to work. She told Johannes that her worker (uneducated one) at home will help him. Johannes then came to Christina’s house at the next day to took the Dogs and send them to Handaka by Train.

Saturday, February 4, 2011 at 7 PM Christina got text message from Handaka which informed Christina, 3 of 4 Saint Bernard already died. The Vet whose doing vised for them told Handaka that the caused of death is lack of oxygen which caused their lungs burst and blood came out from their ears, noses and mouths.

When Handaka picked them at the Train Station, he got really shock founding the Dogs already overlaps in the cages. The cages are too small for them. The size of the cage which called as P5 type of Cage is 92 cm long, 66 cm wide and 72 cm tall. The smallest Dog, Aisha, from feed to her neck is 72 cm long, Alfan is 83 cm long, Dior is 81 cm long and 74 cm long. With head up, it will be longer. If comparing their tall with the carrier it easy to see these carriers are not fit for them. But then it is not the only problem! Oh no!

Alfan and Dextra loaded into one carrier and Dior and Aisha in another one Carrier. So there are 2 oversized dogs inside 1 carrier! The train leaved Jakarta at 4 PM and reached Yogyakarta at 7 AM: which mean they had been locked there for 15 hours. There is no water bowl inside the carriers at all nor food and all windows on the carriers was covered by duct tapes. Imagined that!

Aisha, the only Saint Bernard which survived almost gone too, but luckily she can be saved. But now she became violent because of her trauma.

1. Johannes depending himself by saying that he is not guilty because he already asked Christina’s worker (please remember, this person is uneducated man and work only to help Christina taking care her Saint Bernards) if he think the carriers will fit them or not. How stupid this person is? He is Pet Shop owner. He must be knew better about Dogs than low pay uneducated house worker!

2. He asked for 3.000.000 IDR (1US$ = 9.000 IDR. It might be only 1$ for American, but it is like 90US$ for Indonesia. So 3.000.000 IDR is crazy amount of money for shipping cost) for sending 5 Dogs, which 4 of them are, belong to Christina. Turned out he just acted as middleman. He hired another Courier to send them which only cost 1.125.000 IDR.

3. The price of each Saint Bernard is around 25.000.000 – 35.000.000 IDR, 3 of them cost more than 60.000.000 IDR, but considering how long they had became Christina’s pets, It made them became priceless.

4. Johannes denied all accused, refused to pay material loss but that 3.000.000 IDR only, and also refused to ask forgiveness from Christina. He even dared to challenge Christina to go to the court, seem knew very well there is no law can give him severe punishment because of this incident but 3 months only for animal abuse. Indonesian law still not really care about Animal welfare. Too bad Christina said she doesn’t have enough money to pay lawyer for this sue.

5. Someone reported that he once bought 3 Shitzu Dogs from Johannes, but soon after that 2 of them are died. Johannes also denied that the death of these 2 dogs is due to error in treatment while still under His care.

6. Responded to this story which written in Indonesian at Kaskus.com, someone then open the Facebook Page which called 1.000.000 Boycot Planet Petshop and Johannes Indrajaya which already have 14.776 likes until the time when this Hub being written, hoping everyone will be aware about this kind of devil and not risk their pets life by having relation with him. Responded to this story too, I write this Hub, hoping the same, in more global way.

Indeed sometimes, human can be lower than animal!
