LET ME SLEEP, LET ME JUST DREAM AWAY - A Poem
62
"Inspiring by every wounded Soldiers I know, I hope life will be gentle and kind to you. We are all a wounded Soldiers too, Soldiers of this chaotic life."
Where have you gone?
My lovely dream
The road to you had fade away
The signs are gone, I can’t find my way
Cloud covering
Like blanket hiding my confidence
Doubt hovering
Playing with my common sense
Inside
My beast starting to wake up
Outside
I keep bursting with tears
Where you were hiding?
My sweet emotion
My heart have no reason to laugh
my gut have no power to move forward
That knife made from ice
Which you stabbed inside my heart
Had freezing my brain
But not able to locked my pain
Releasing energy
To the source of my anger
Free doubt completely
Destroying the meaning of forever
My restrained desires
Out of flame before it has been flow
When it dims, I slowly losing
My adorable Muse of prosing
Please let me sleep
Let me dream away
Please keep my breath
I don’t want it anyway
Soon,
I’ll embrace the death
With every grace
A wounded Soldier allowed to have

A beautiful and healing prayer Freya.;)
Ohhh Freya - That is a wonderful poem. It paints a very true picture of what life can be like for the old soldier. That is why I felt "back home" with my buddies when I volunteered at the local veterans' hospital. It was really interesting to me how that went.
Gus :-)))

Oh...these are some dark thoughts. Wouldn't it be wonderful if there was no need for soldiers to ever risk life and limb in warfare. Nothing remains the same. Old adversaries become friends and the soldiers who have risked it all are caught in the middle. Thought provoking poem!
