House for Vietnam child

This house for that many people
This house for that many people

Have you ever thought living in the house made of paper box?

Or only as big as the smallest closet and even have no door to close?

Some even don’t have place they can call home

Wandering on the road like those restless ghosts

Have to eat garbage

Have to drink dirty water

Choke for every mouthful

For every painful bite

Some are already very old

But still they have to work

For those who are no longer able to handle the job

Begging near the street is the only way they can think of

No where to go, no where to rest, everywhere is my bed

That is the only water she can have for everything she need
That is the only water she can have for everything she need
Drink, toothbrush, bath, toilet, everything from one source only
Drink, toothbrush, bath, toilet, everything from one source only

Still they can smile

But not sure how to cry

Too many pains

Cause's it to no longer feels like damn

Sometimes they even can’t feel anything

Rather than hunger which make them keep fighting

Live for today, rest for tomorrow

Eat today, not sure about the morrow

Father sold his child

To feed himself and the entire family

Mother sold herself

Hoping no daughter ever see's her in action

Sometimes she had

To prostitute her own baby

To make sure they are able to have money

To stay alive even in misery

Will their smile stay for long time?
Will their smile stay for long time?

It is life for them, maybe not even close

I am only able to captured what I heard the most

Now before you want to complain about your life

Come, join me and meet them alive

Children of tomorrow?

There is little else in the world so bad as a crooked politician and a hungry person. For what the crooks steal from people we could probably feed most of the hungry people of the world. Amazingly, Americans give and give every year to help stem world hunger and still it goes on. It makes me wonder how much of that money ever makes its way to the mouths of people in the form of food. Thank you for bringing this important and emotional subject to the forefront...life is not as hard as we might think most of the time. WB

Hello, Sir. Yes, you are right. This become common suspicion for many about how much money really able to reach the poor and the needy and not lost under man's greed. Working for government made me witnessing so many corrupt behaviour. If, for even little amount of money they still stole it, hard to not get suspicion about how people handle big money. Thank you for reading this, Sir. :)

THIS writing is necessity! This is what we need to SEE! We need to lift our people up! It is God's law! We must obey and love the law. We must obey God and lift our brothers and sisters!

Very true, King Micky. We need to lend our hand and help. But like Wayne Brown said, sometimes it seem never ending pain. Maybe there is something wrong about the way we give. Maybe we need to be more progressive then only donating money. Maybe... I wish I know the answer. But still, in the end, we need to keep helping and feel grateful for what we have, because there are many people less lucky than us which need help. Thank you, King Micky. :)

Thanks God, how we are so lucky for not being those very poor people. God's eyes are on those who have more than they need and still wasting, trashing left over. It is really sad to do so; while there are the corners of the world many people who are suffer sips of water. Thank you Freya for your sharing.
